About Us
A bilingual Apostolic Pentecostal church committed to preaching the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Founded on the Apostolic Faith
Our bilingual congregation—Spanish and English—is dedicated to guiding people to the full experience of salvation and to building lives transformed by the power of the Holy Ghost.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"Ephesians 2:8
What We Believe
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)
Salvation
Acts 2:38We believe that salvation comes through believing and obeying the Gospel. Repentance—dying to sin—baptism in the name of Jesus—burial—and the filling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues—and resurrection—are the steps ordained by the apostles and fully valid for today.
Holiness
1 Corinthians 6:19-20Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; we were bought at a price. Holiness is not a burden—it is the natural response of a heart that loves God and desires to glorify Him in all things.
Christian Life
Romans 12:1-2We do not conform to this world. The Christian life is one of continuous transformation through the renewing of the mind in the Word of God. We are called to present our bodies as a living, holy, and pleasing sacrifice to God, demonstrating what His perfect will is.
Evangelism
Mark 16:15-16Christ's mandate is clear: go throughout the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. We are committed to sharing the transformative message of salvation in our community and beyond
One God
We believe in one omnipotent God who manifested Himself in the flesh as the Son of God (Jesus Christ) and who dwells within us as the Holy Spirit. The name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit is Jesus (John 14:26; Matthew 1:21–23; John 5:43).
What to Expect · Your First Visit
When you come to Truth Tabernacle, you will find a warm congregation that worships God with all its heart. Your visit is appreciated and always welcome.
Praise and Worship
Cantamos con gozo al Señor (Salmos 98:4). Levantamos nuestras voces y manos en gratitud a Dios (Salmos 134:2).
Collective Prayer
We pray together aloud, like the early church (Acts 4:24). United prayer is powerful and transforms lives. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Testimonies
Members share what God has done in their lives (Luke 12:8). No testimony is too small—every story gives glory to God.
Baptism in Water
Baptism is administered by immersion in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). It is the step of faith and obedience to the Gospel.
Holy Ghost
We believe and expect that every person receives the gift of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, just as in Acts 2:4
Anointing with Oil
We practice anointing the sick with oil (James 5:14). We believe in the power of the prayer of faith to heal the body and restore the soul.
